Sniper enjoying the view

Sniper enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the way to Ohio for Thanksgiving 🙂

My furry Muse

The wording of our plan went something like this: “Hey, let’s take Sniper downtown on Saturday and get some pictures with all the leaves!” The actual plan went something like this: “Let’s take Sniper downtown, remember that he’ll be on an intense mission to smell EVERYTHING, take some shots of him on a leash, and then take him back to the track where he can be free.” 🙂 That’s pretty much how it worked out. Ah, the creative process…the plan… and then what actually happens 🙂 First…downtown!

Then back to his favorite roaming spot, the track near our house. FREEDOM!

He pondered a track career….

Westie thought pattern at this point….

“Wow, I’m super clean right now. I’m lookin’ good, nice and white. Check out the sun coming through my fur…. I am one good-looking white dog…”

“So my natural next course of action is…”

Then a little training for London 2012…

Then cool down with a little car ride…

it’s a rough life, pooch.

That’s my boy.

Here’s to the one who started it all….our Muse… our 5-year-old Westie, Sniper. This is my favorite shot from an afternoon out with him. More to come later!

Madeleine Jane McCauley

Many thanks to Megan McCauley for introducing me to her French bulldog, Madeleine. It was a pleasure to spend time with this wonderful pooch who just overflows with personality.

We started in the house, where she quickly made herself comfortable and invited us to watch some SEC football with her.

To the back yard!

Madeleine carries her own texture, and I loved seeing it mingle with the yard’s many textures.

Next, it was “get the treat” time! SO CLOSE….

Enter rubber ducky and small porcelain bathtub…equals my favorite shot of the day.

This girl can move!

All in all, Madeleine was quite the model, and I’m already looking forward to seeing her again!
